How to Use Green People Rescue Balm
Apply a small amount to dry or irritated skin, or eczema-prone areas, and gently massage into the skin. Reapply as often as needed.
To prepare for childbirth, we recommend massaging the perineum regularly from 34 weeks onwards to keep the skin supple. According to the NHS, the best time to massage is after a warm bath. Place one or both thumbs just inside the back wall of the vagina while resting your fingers on the buttocks. Massage in a gentle, rhythmic 'U' motion for about 5 minutes each day, starting from 34 weeks to keep the skin supple.
Additionally, the balm can be used on nipple cracks. It doesn’t need to be removed before breastfeeding, as it is completely natural and safe for your baby. The balm is also highly effective for conditions such as lichen sclerosus.
Tip for Green People Mum & Baby Rescue Balm
Store the natural balm in a warm space to prevent crystal formation. If crystals do form, place the balm in a warm spot to restore its normal consistency.
