A personal journey to the conviction of 100% natural skincare (2009)
The belief in exclusively natural skincare arose from a profound personal experience. In 2009, the son of Erik and Suzanne was struck by severe food allergies and a painful, inflamed form of eczema. This challenging period involved numerous hospital visits and admissions. However, what truly made a difference was a mother’s determination. This determination was fueled by the belief in the skin's self-healing ability, the conviction that medications wouldn't break the cycle, and trust in unprocessed food, high-quality supplements, and natural skincare.

A plan of action (2010)
Suzanne, with her background as a beautician, initially hesitated to trust her intuition. Yet, she followed a plan that required time, rest, and her deep knowledge of the skin to help her son. Astonishingly, within a month, the painful and inflamed eczema vanished.

The birth of entrepreneurship (2012)
This remarkable process laid the foundation for a new journey: the journey to entrepreneurship. Salon Biocare was born, where the skin's self-healing ability was always at the core, all in an atmosphere of tranquility. The growing demand for tranquil treatments reinforced the belief in success, with the idea of starting an online store already taking shape for the future but first...

The path to salon biocare (2012)
In 2012, Salon Biocare opened its doors as an oasis of wellness and skin improvement. Here, certified 100% natural skincare and mineral vegan makeup were central, blending the power of silence with the art of natural skincare. It was a place where Suzanne discovered the key to embracing natural aging and approached the skin from a holistic perspective. A healthy skin in balance.

Biocareonline.nl (2015)
In 2015, the online store biocareonline.nl became a reality, and entrepreneurship turned out to be a shared journey. Suzanne had a solid partner in her life companion, Erik. For six months, they worked together in the evenings to launch Biocareonline.nl in 2015, an online shop for certified 100% natural skincare for the whole family, combined with professional skincare advice from expert Suzanne.

Expansion to Green People (2016)
During their entrepreneurial journey, Erik and Suzanne crossed paths with Green People, a 100% natural, vegan, and organic skincare brand for the whole family. This brand, highly tolerable for sensitive skin, was not yet available in the Netherlands. Inspired by this, Suzanne trusted this brand for her customers with eczema and wanted to make it more widely available.

Biocareproducts.nl (2016)
In 2016, Biocareproducts.nl was established, a B2B supplier for beauty salons, online skin experts, and conscious retailers, exclusively offering certified natural skincare. This was a crucial step in Suzanne and Erik’s mission to make certified 100% natural skincare accessible to every household in the Benelux.

The merging of Biocareonline.nl and Biocareproducts.nl forms a valuable synergy. It enables us to further spread our passion for certified 100% natural skincare and reach a broader audience. Together, we can continue our mission to make this accessible to both consumers and beauty salons in the Benelux and beyond. It is a journey driven by love for the skin, belief in natural beauty, and the conviction that we can all benefit from the power of nature.
